National Honor Society

LaGrange High School National Honor Society: 

National Honor Society is an academic organization that focuses on bettering both the school and the community.  The four cardinal principles of NHS are scholarship, leadership, character, and service. 

The requirements are: 

Must be at least a junior 

Must have at least an overall 3.3 GPA on your transcript throughout your membership.

Excellent standings with the school in regard to discipline, attendance, and behavior.

Students must complete 10 hours of community service each year to remain in good standings.

Application reviewed each year.

 
NOTE: Yearly membership fee is $30 (this covers your tee shirt, national fee, and school fee);

Students interested in seeking membership should pick up an application from Sponsor Mrs. Evans or Co-sponsor Mrs. Willis.

Application and Service Hours are Due on or before Oct 20 to Mrs. Evans or Mrs. Willis.

Verification of application will take place between Oct 21- Oct 31. Invitation will be sent out the first week of November. Fee of $30 is due by 11th.;

First Meeting is Nov 16th at 3:15 pm in room 216
