Mrs. Mellissa Enright

The Publications staff is responsible for producing, publishing, and distributing the LaGrange student newspaper, Gator Gumbeaux. The staff members are enrolled in either Publications I or II with their course work focusing primarily on print journalism. Instruction encompasses news reporting, feature writing, editing, pagination, make-up, ad and print design, and photography. Students also explore modern news media tactics and practices and complete the courses with improved writing and communication skills as well as an awareness of the powerful impact of the media in our world and our everyday lives. These one-credit elective courses are open to all junior and senior students upon the recommendation of faculty and staff.

Resume´ (Yearbook)

The Resume´ staff is responsible for the publication of the yearbook. The staff is student-directed and chosen with the teacher serving as facilitator/teacher. The staff's mission is to capture the year through the students' eyes and efforts.
