National Honor Society
Mrs. Doretha WestonNational Honor Society is a service organization which provides services to
the school and to the community. Members must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 for
admission. The qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, and character are
fostered in the members. National Honor Society provides after-school tutorial
services in math and science to members of our student body. Students may take
advantage of this free service three days a week by signing up with Mrs. Weston
in the Guidance Office.
Quiz Bowl
Mrs. Sarun WamsleyIn Quiz Bowl competition, teams from different schools compete in a game-show style format. Students quickly answer questions (using electronic buzzers) from a variety of academic and cultural subjects. LaGrange has had the most successful Quiz Bowl program in Southwest Louisiana throughout the 1990s, and one of the best in Louisiana. Contact Mrs. Wamsley for more information.

Mu Alpha Theta is a math honor society which helps LaGrange students by offering tutoring ever Tuesday and Thursday after school.
